TLF currently slow for me.....

Thought I'd share Bibbo. I reasonably regularly check in with 5 or 6 forum sites. Always start with TLF obviously! I use your view new content button. At the moment, if I then select a topic to look at, in the time it takes to open I can open another tab, bring up LEC or SLOC or FFRR, etc. Click their new content button and check out a couple of items before TLF comes back. I then flip back to the TLF tab, read the topic, hit back to get to the new content list again (instantly) and pick the next item of interest. It then goes away to think again and I carry on with one of the other sites on another tab. Obviously my superfast 1Mb (on a good day) broadband is making a contribution, but its very stark how much slower TLF is to the others.....including LEC that you host! Why's that then?

Bibs is current wizzing around Snetterton but I can confirm all is good at TLF HQ, I'm sure he'll look into it later.

i've noticed this as well. Over the past 3-5 days i go to load page and its taking forever, if i refresh the page whilst its still trying to load then the page loads in normal time

Hilariously, it was caused by some script I was trying to speed up image loading! Nothing ventured...!!

That script must come from the same school of IT that run my "superfast" faster broadband...

...nice to be back at proper plodding pace, ta much.
