I hate to worry you but a fully specced up Bugaboo "travel system" is over a grand already so in the scheme of things it not that much more.

Until recently the government used to give you a certain amount towards set up costs for a baby and I think there was a massive increase in high end travel systems...

Of course this subsidy ceased about 3 months before our baby was born.

Aahh, but it weighs 9kg Rick! - A Lotus 'stroller' would have come in at a weight saving 7kg I recon.

Yeah, compared to the cost of a sprog it's a drop in the nappy bin....

I would still struggle to justify buying it for the 14 or so months you would use it, unless the residuals are OK and you could shift it on ebay for almost as much as you paid!

 

Is there a market in used pram dealers we have just uncovered....
