what brake pads are best for a my 08 elise sc?.....is it worth going cheap (just wondering)

I've heard good things about Performance Friction & Carbon Lorraine pads...

OE as a minimum the choice is then a personal preference, only heard good things about CL

I would avoid really cheap and cheerful and the best pad depends on your use.

Mintex 1144 are meant to be good for fast road and many say EBC yellow stuffs are pretty capable for not a lot.

For the occasional track stuff you have a choice of CL, Pagid or PF.

I've tried Pagid RS14 and although good I prefer CL RC5+ just because I preferred there initial bite and how they work from cold to blooming hot.

I'm afraid it's a matter of you pays your money you makes your choice.
