Yes, I'm going to post all the details on Monday as I didn't want any confusion over which weekend it was. ChrisJ is arranging a seperate meet fot the hertfordshire guys and the Norfolk guys I would imagine will go straight there. If there's loads of people at Birchanger we can always set off in two groups or just drive slowly till evryone catches up.

The trouble is, it's always more fun to drive it than polish it. I'm quietly confident that it will be respectable. I'm sure there's a line somewhere that an Esprit looks beautiful, even when it is covered in crud. If there isn't, I may have to invent one.

Hi All,

 

Here are the details for Duxford next Sunday 4th May:

 

We'll be having a pre-meet at Birchanger Green Services as usual, but if you want to go straight there that's absolutely fine and this will obviously be more convenient for those coming down the M11. ChrisJ will also be arranging a seperate run in the Essex & Herts Section.

 

Details for Birchanger Green Services are:

 

Meet 9.00-9.30am

 

Motorway: M11

Where: at J8 and from A120

Postcode: CM23 5QZ

 

Please be ready to leave at 9.35am prompt and head for Duxford Air Field

 

IWM Duxford
Cambridgeshire

CB22 4QR

 

It should take around 20mins, so we'll arrive as the gate opens at 10.00am.

 

I've attached a general map of Duxford below. We've not been told this time where our area is, so we'll follow the directions from the Marshalls on site. If you're going to arrive seperately from the group just tell the guys on the gate you're with the Lotus Forums and they'll direct you to our display area. It's likely we will end up in the same position as last year which I think was area 6 and 8 on the map.
