My first CGI work

Just completed my first CGI assignment for Uni. I am quite happy with how  its come together, its taken lots of hours of modelling work on it.

Thanks buddsy, it all started its life out as a solitary wire frame cube, lots of reshaping , extrusions and inserting edge loops and you end up with the above.

I think it's pretty damn cool, but that's probably because I don't know a damn thing about it lol.  I have seen some 3D renders of some Lotus cars, maybe do one for us

I see the Viewcube at the top right corner of the screen, is it Maya?

I don't even recognize that as Maya, but then I haven't used Maya since version 5.

 

I was actually at a launch event for Maya when it was first released:)  Really impressive software!

Awsome isnt it, not quite there yet but coming along nicely.
