Ceramic Brake Pads

Hi Everyone

 

Have any you used ceramic brake pads and are they ok for the lotus. I was told that the pads dont create dust hence keeps wheels cleaner than normal.

 

If so what are the best make to use for my 1995 Lotus S4S . make and part number for front and rear would be greatly appreciated.

Not a fan of ceramic...  they can chew up rotors faster.  Bt of you are just driving on the street and don't care about performance driving, then they would probably be fine.

 

I have the V8 AWI silver wheels, and had TONS of brake dust from my new race brakes...  Used up 4mm of race pad material in a few weeks driving on the street!

 

I cleaned the wheels and put some Armor All Wheel Protectant on them.  That stuff is like magic!  It completely kept the wheels looking perfect, no dust could stick to them at all.

I'd better try that too, as I get lot's of dust from my new pads on to my AWI Wheels.
