Traveling to London tomorrow from Aberdeen and urgently require new rear brake pads for my 93 S4.

does anyone have a cross ref No for these pads as I may be able to get them at local parts supplier but he doent list Lotus.

Rgent reply would be most gratefull as we have to travel tomorrow.

Edit: these may only be of use for Brembo equipped cars.

 

 

Mintex's brakebook suggest: MDB1445

 

These are also similar in pattern to the Renault Laguna, 21, Safrane and some Espaces. Take an old pad with you to measure up.

 

 

The part numbers of PAD749, 6025308186, 7701203124, 770120312 may be of relevance to your parts guy, too.

 

I can't comment on the pad material or performance, but they will physically fit the caliper.

An early 93 Esprit S4 probably doesn't have the Brembo brakes.

 

Here are some pads that fit the earlier Toyota and Bendix brakes

 

Brake Pads, Front EBC DP2456(green)    

Brake Pads, Front Ferodo 3432F For Toyota front brakes, OEM

Brake Pads, Front EBC DP4456R Yellow Stuff

Brake Pads, Rear Mazda   Fits late 80's RX7's

Brake Pads, Rear Lucas GP248 Also fits Eagle Premier

Brake Pads, Rear     Same as: Renault 82-4 Fuego, 84-92 25 (all engines)

Brake Pads, Rear EBC DP4189R Yellow Stuff

Brake Pads, Rear Ferodo DB102S Curved lower edge, fit better than Mazda ones

Thanks guys, panic over, managed to get a set of Laguna pads so she will go to the ball :animier:  . As usual the TLF guys came up trumps.
