Engine check relay position

Hello all, New member here. Have just aquired a 1990 SE and working my way through some issues.

Firstly I would like to thank you all for the wealth of information you make available. Its helped me a a lot. 

Can someone tell the correct position for the engine check relay. See attached pic. Is it the the block marked yello or red.

Also this might be of use to someone Had a code 13 , 26 & 44 . Cleared after I found the green wire out from the changeover solenoid block - far right . See other picture.

I'm not sure what you mean by "engine check relay", do you mean the "tell tale control module"? If so, it's the one with the yellow star on it.

Thanks for that. So on a 90 SE the block with the red star is free ?

The manuals say that it's "Headlamp Powerwash (not used)"
