Front tyre width

I'm going to buy some lotus forged wheels (7x16 8x17)

What would be the best fast road/track tyre?

Just stick with the AD048 195/50/16

Or go with the AD08R in 205/45/16?

I had AD08s on my clio 200 as track wheels and they were great on road and track.

They don't do a 195 in the AD08 though so is 205 ok to use with the 225 rear tyre? I don't want too much oversteer.

Is a 195 AD048 ok on a 7" rim and are these ok to run with the sport suspension (not comfort pack)

I put the wider AD08R's on mine and they're brilliant!! Had a geo done after to make sure they were accommodated and they transformed the car

No but they're very capable track tyres

well i ordered my wheels and tyres today 

 

went for a set of 240R forged wheels in black with R888's (195/50 front)

 

weren't cheap but i think they're the best looking wheel and much easier to clean. they're pretty light too which is the main reason i wanted forged wheels

 

 

 

 

 

anyone interested in a new set of elise S 6 Y-spoke's with AD07's?
