Lots of single track, pot holed roads with random sheep, deer and other furry things to get trapped under your car and cause untold damage.

Not trying to put you off or anything.

Am planning to do something like that while in Scotland, now it has a name, all I need to do now is to procure a Lotus for the job.

Think i might attach a few cameras to the motor and make a big youtube series about it before it goes too commercialized.

Some epic roads up there as others have said.  Never done it in a loop like that though.  SWMBO & I were talking about doing the western portion  next summer so this may be annexes to extend that.

 

Good accommodation may be harder to find than the drive depending on distances you want to cover daily.  Plenty B&B's and also plenty small hotels but if it does become a must do the better beds will quickly be used up.

2 words.  Jungle Formula.(or equivalent) Always some in the boot or glovebox. The little "bar stewards" hate it, as do your eyes, cuts or any mucous membranes but the pain is worth it.
