Who design the next Esprit...?

So we have the Giugiaro Esprit and the Stevens Esprit...? Whose Esprit is the next one....? I hope they will remain the wedge shape.... that's the real identity of the Esprit...

Russell Carr is in overall control of the Esprit design. He pushed through the 340R, M250 and the Elise Mk 2.

Russel Carr's first attempt at the Esprit hasn't gone down to well, so I gather. The reason the Esprit has been postponed till 2009 is because it's being redesigned. I guess when Mike Kimberely took over and saw Lotus's attempt at the new Esprit, he didn't think much and postponed it.

I agree with Mark. I think the new Management looked at it and said couldn't justify any more money on something that didn't look or feel like a Lotus.....just my opinion of course

Lets forget the name........... and hope the new mid-engined flagship Lotus is a winner. The only DNA that runs through every Lotus is 'add lightness'.
