Saw this sell on eBay last week at £995. Now back up at £3000.

Nice work if he can pull it off!

Sadly it looks too far gone for an economical repair, which is a shame as its a Celebration. The interior has also been mucked about with extra speakers etc.

I view that as a real shame as it could have gone to an enthusiast who may have resurrected it at its correct value or it could have given its parts in a worthy cause.

No bonnet, wrecked shell, etc... probably cat. C. for £3k is way overpriced.  Sold my celebration with a v8 to Brian for not far off that.

It's definitely registered as a write off because I asked the original guy selling it. I suspect the chassis is damaged as the guy had it for 20 years and never fixed it.

TBH I wasn't sure it was even worth £995 as the cost of getting it back on the road mechanically and cosmetically will probably be greater than buying a good one. Plus it'll always be an ex write off so will never have the full value. Probably worth it as a breaker but no more. 

Shame as I'd love a Celebration sat next to my Esprit in the garage...
