I have been tracking a GT3 this last week for a friend of mine, but lost it by a couple of hour's. low and behold, that same car has now changed hands 3 times in less than a week and is back on sale again.The current dealer has found that I had an interest in her and has offered her for sale. All three buyers were dealers and jacked the price up a couple of grand every time she was sold. She has probably done about 800 miles on transporters over the last week.

But won't the last dealer be stuck with it now if they are trying to recoup what they paid and the car is now possibly overpriced?

They'll just sit on it till the market catches up... Seems to be a popular tactic with the dealers. I really don't understand it though, surely it's better to sell cars than sit on them for what is often years.
