Hello from me in Cannock, Staffs ?

First time Lotus owner as I've recently purchased an MY10 Evora as pictured below!

The forums been incredibly useful and have found out so much about the car in a small space of time.

Anyone from near myself junction 11 M6? Posted on the Events forum but doesn't seem to be very active my way.

Lovely car, welcome to TLF. Looks great in white with the forged wheels.

Hey thanks. This is also my first white car. Whilst the Evora looks awesome in any colour I'm really pleased with my purchase in white ? Thanks for the comments.

Looking at this really does tempt me to buy one. Smashing looking car

Hey Stuart, thanks for the comments. I absolutely love it too. Planning on booking it into Lotus Silverstone in Jan to have the black pack (in wrap) added to the front lower bumper lip and sides inder the door. This should really finish off what already I think is a fab looking ?.

What do you currently have Stuart?

I must say I am not that familiar with options on Evoras but Black accents on the car sound very nice. Desperate to try one out. A couple of locals TfL members have offered me a go in the new year as my local dealer only has a 400 which is out of my price range .

Yours really does look great. I have a few older Lotus. Details on my profile. Enjoy the car ?

Wow looks like you've been busy in Lotus ownership ?

From what I have found out the 'Black Pack' which it is referred to is a black roof, black front lower bumper lip and black side sills. Really does pull the car in a little. I found a pic in white with the black pack below.

Welcome to TLF. Have a look in the regional events sections at the bottom of the forum home page mate :)

Cheers Bibs. I didn't notice that section as it doesn't come up in the main forum section on my mobile.

Cheers for that.

Thanks guys! Absolutely love it so far.

There are literally not many Lotus around my area in general and also I've never seen an Evora on the road. This gives it some exclusivity meaning I get so many looks and stares.

Yesturday a couple of builders stopped in traffic next to me and shouted to ask about what it was, engine, price etc. They absolutely loved it and never seen one before.

Today a guy in the hair dressers asked me about it. Couldn't believe there was a 3.5 litre V6 in the back. He had no idea how it fit in and was taken back by the car. He's a porsche owner and I think it's probably made him Google 'Lotus Evora'!

Thanks, I just noticed your red one. interestingly it was between a white and a red one for me. I like the red ones with black roofs and the only reason I didn'5 go for the red was because it has 20k more miles on. Reminds me of the look of the Ferrari Italia.

Red is best but white is good too ;)

Did not think Ferrari was a bad word here.

Audi and Porsche - now go and wash your mouth out with cows urine!

Cracking choice of car and well done choosing a Lotus.

Really am warming to the Evora and with the black detailing your having done, it will transform the car for the better.

Friendly bunch here and throughout the Lotus community.

As for meetings, I know MLOC meet occasionally in the Birmingham area, as well as Shardlow south of Derby every month and I organise a meeting just off the M1 junction 27/28 every month called FLEM (Fish's Lotus Enthusiasts Meeting).

Lots of track days, Lotus Festival and of course Lotus in the Peak at Chatsworth House, which is an essential event.
