Weight of S1 gearbox and courier service

Hi folks.

Can anyone tell me what the weight of an S1 gearbox with the bell housing would be please?

Also looking for a decent courier who wouldn't charge the earth to ship it from Aberdeen down to Northampton.... any idea of cost?

I would estimate circa 100 kilos, based on the fact that my TR6 gearbox + overdrive weighed in at 95.

Most car breakers charge 50 to 70 quid for an engine on a pallet,  so that sort of gives an idea,  I would say 50 quid or below would a ball park figure if that helps.

ok thanks guys.... I was thinking it would be a bit lighter but perhaps im wrong.

Any recommendations for courier, seems like they choke at that sort of weight?
