How does it play with the DPM? Well, or not at all?

Yes, Martyn, M4.   I don't have DPM as I have the X-trac sequential.  But the new ABS computer does play nicely with the variable traction control, all 32 stages.

The stock Bosch unit was unable to cope with the combination of stickier tires (Yoko slicks) and the fact that OD of the tires was different than stock.  Not the fault of the factory, as the ABS system was designed and calibrated for a street car running R-comp tires (at best) at a specific OD.  As a consequence, the stock ABS was far too intrusive and actually impaired threshold braking on track.

Nice thing about the Motorsports ABS, aside from the multiple settings (including full off) which are cockpit adjustable, is that it can be programmed for the specific size of the tires you chose to run among other factors.

You got that right, Norbert, although Bosch just reduced the price on the unit, if you buy the M4 Clubsport version. 

The only difference between that model and the M4 Motorsport unit, is the latter offers 2 extra channels which can be custom programmed (if you hire a Bosch factory engineer to have it done).

Updating my braking thread......it took me awhile, but I thought I deserved a proper B'day present.... so, time to ditch the vacuum booster and go to a dual master brake cage setup.....work is in progress....photo worth another 1000 words. 

Looking forward to learning how to brake anew.
