Aaarrrggghhh! Sorry, but this is about the worse advice ever! The

lift points are the recommended points on the Esprit for a reason.

They are designed to take the weight of the car. Yes, the tabs can

bend if you don't use the proper adapter (hockey puck) on the jack's

cup, but it will still hold the car even if the tabs are bent or

missing. Once you lift the car, you can place stands under the frame.

However, NEVER under any circumstance support the car's weight by

placing a stand under a suspension link. That is the easiest way to

bend a link and screw up your alignment.
