Tony,

Imagine this:

Instead of posting some T&A pics here on the forum, we could bring the bikini gals to your party!! :smoke:

I'll be there if I can make it!

This might be the first event that I can actually make!. It will be nice to put a lot of names to faces. As my car lives in Norwich, it will be very convient as well.

I will book that weekend off work and should have no problem being there.

Regards

Well done Yasuo.

For anyone attending I would recommend either the Best Western Abbey Hotel or the other one in Wymondham (also best western....can't remember it's name). It's a very short taxi ride or a 10 minute walk from where (I hope) to have it!

But Park Farm in Hthersett is just as posh and twice as close! it's also my back up venue.

Cause Nifty, all LEF members are welcome.

James, Wensums not far but about 20 mins by car so Wymondham, Hethersett, hotels much closer.

Walking staggering distance is probably a better bet :D

Just tell me that they're marginally better than a certain Travelodge?!

Got a venue yet Kimbers? I will be in narfuk that weekend (cough - any excuse), and I rather fancy Dunstan Hall + taxi rather than the Holiday Bin - has Dunstan still got the anti-Esprit speed ramps on the way in?

GKP, all - You will need a visa, of course. Make sure to get it issued, as there are passport controls at Sutton Bridge, the A140 and at Thetford these days, I'm told.... :D

James

Best Western do tend to have a positive star rating, unlike some places we've stayed at.....does that sound gay?

Park farm is off the main routes and set in countryside. No golf but cracking gym and pool, good Hotel. Just down the road from Hethersett Social Club which may also be a possible venue....if not it's where I'll be next day for the hair of the dog! Also at Hethersett is a nice restuarant and .....well rest of my family.

The 2 Best Westerns at Wymondham aren't bad. The Abbey is pretty cheap but in a lovely location overlooking the Abbey. Nice riverside walks close by to clear the head the next day and 3 great restaurants PLUS an award winning Indian (The Shapla). Of course I'm there as well and the Primary venue (Ketts Park Community centre) is there.

You know what? On closer thought I might go for the Social club. Cheaper and better beers (

Is there a Shapla Tandoori in Wymondham ??

I know the one in Attleborough, which is very good or rather, was, last time I went in.

(Used to be fairly regular in there some years back).

  • 2 weeks later...

I'll be there for sure.

Being the decent sort of chap that you are, I reckon I would feel guilty drinking at the "FREE BAR" all night, but I guess you would be offended if I did'nt.... so I will! "CHEERS" :wallbash::beer:
