1st Time in an exige

Never even driven or sat in an Exige before this came up at a very decent price so snapped it up.

1st ever drive home what a thing they sound epic. First journey from Southampton to Taunton was sketchy as **** as went after work to collect and drove home late into night on salt laden damp roads. Salt bombed by gritters the lot but a 2 hour intensive clean sorted that (still not a single chip on it).

Have a few niggles, noisy thrust breaing (knock) when clutch disengaged and the TC light came on and stuck on but know from my Evora they can be sorted under warranty so no dramas.

Sounds and drives amazingly (very visceral). Last similar car was a GT4 and whist that was a ALLOT better place to be (this is a like a lada Riva compared to that) this is a better drive in many ways.
Looking forward to some dry days!

Im on my second V6 and they have both equally rattled at idle without the clutch pedal depressed, if that is the sound you are describing. If so, it really is a ‘they all do that sir’.

I went from a Cayman GT4 to an Elise Cup and haven't looked back.

It’s more of a  constant clunk than a rattle Rob will see what the dealer says when they sort the tc light 

Havent looked back from GT4 either tbh I prefer my FK8 type r to that (bar the sound) and that and the Exige combined were less than a sold that for so best of all worlds.

Great cars but over hyped by the fan boys. I was lucky enough to have specced from new, had a Mexico blue one with, 918 seats, leather club-sport etc so made a fair bit when sold after 18 months.

Hoping the roads dry today so I can whip roof off and go for a spin 👍🏻

TC light is likely to be the brake switch on the pedal. The TB's rattle a bit as noted above, they dont usually clunk.

Came up on pistonheads the chap bought another car and had a PX price (which was about £9k less than he initially wanted) I gave him a bit more than the dealer bid and we were both happy.

Propely immaculate as been garage and ceramic coated from new.

Based on a quick drive yesterday after roads dried up I am sure I will, what a machine and that noise 👌🏻

Its been cleaned more than it’s been driven so far.

Sure is. Bloody work, kids and away for a 6 weeks in new year means it’s now laid up as of this weekend. 

Stil atleast by the time I get chance to use it weather will be more appropriate 👍🏻
