  3. Hmm... I'm guessing the new suit may have looked something like this... Good effort Simon
  4. That's a bit spooky, Chris. Two car storage places within spitting distant of each other... and very similar names too!
  5. Probably a bit too far out, Mat? - clicky
  6. Camskill's prices are usually pretty keen too... Toyo T1-R -
  7. Yeah, I spotted that when this thread started. IIRC the 'Scott' part of H&S is no longer directly involved with day to day running of the business. Had already decided that next time I speak to Ian (manager at H&S) to ask him if he knew anything about the 'David Kent' system and what, if any, actual involvement H&S may have had. Meantime it strikes me that the patent application was fairly obviously the work of David Kent. Indeed, at one point he even stated "I solely designed the system and my partner Gordon Scott, implemented the ideas." Says it all I reckon
  8. Jono Quite a few of the Scooby/Evo boys are now using removable baffles/bungs to reduce noise levels for track use. They're very effective and from what I've been told they don't seem to have too much impact on flow/power. Example here. Obviously too large for the system you're planning though. But I'm pretty sure that Hayward & Scott will custom make bungs to suit any system. If it is of interest give them a call and ask to speak to Ian - he's the works manager, top bloke, and knows exhaust system design inside out.
  9. Alessandro, Just leave it to the Lotus experts in Rome!
  10. Convinced that V8 has appeared in PH's classified section several times before this year. Vaguely recall one of the previous ads mentioning some work needed... but may be confusing this aspect with another 'industrial estate' car.
  11. Dark blue (?) V8 heading west (just before the British Sugar plant).
  12. Geoff, more info on Freescan here
  13. I guess you probably don't want to know that dear old blighty is currently basking in the midst of a heatwave then? No? Thought not! In truth here in 'sunny' Frinton it's currently blowing a hoolie and we've got horizontal rain. Perfect weather for our trip to Newmarket for the racing later this afternoon You just carry on enjoying yourself Alex and don't worry about us!
  14. Geoff, this any help? Clicky
  15. Can anyone in here help Geoff with this?
  16. Gearbox - classic "red hose" symptoms. Fix = replace the red plastic hose with a nice braided number. Click here for the LEW 'How To' guide. Posting pics - this should help Servicing - Lotus GHQ (Hethel) has a service facility. Would have thought that's about your best bet. Maybe the local guys know of a good independent?
  17. Come on Punky, we know the car's running now so spill the beans You pleased with it? Drive well etc etc?
  18. Hmm, the stuff of intrigue. The Ebay seller is based in Crawley. The highest bidder appears to live in Hinckley, Leics. Yet the Autotrader advertiser is located approx 17 miles from Chelsea. Which, by happy coincidence, just might lead us straight back to Crawley. In fairness maybe the 'trader ad is an old one that ran concurrently with the auction. Either that or I'm just deeply cynical...
