i think the major problem is that there is no spare parts for this car.. car was developed (assembled) in .... italy ( berro's "friends") the only parts developed at lotus was powertrain on mule evora car... so there is not a lot of peoples from lotus involved at the moment in this projects... imho aluminum alloy front subframe is not best idea difficult to repair, perhaps better would be made one of steel....

Matt."new platform" not existing at all. pictures of tested "new" Esprit are the pictures of mule car, well known sports car chassis ( from Italy;-) ) with HWA engine in it . BTW this car not existing anymore as has been heavily crashed at Hethel in march this year. Last rumor I've heard that perhaps new esprit will be based on evora....

First "new platform " need to be design first at the moment is not existing..........
