  1. I also do a fair bit myself, as the Lotus dealer is a 2.5 hours drive away and for some minor things it's just not worth it. I have installed a 12V socket on the battery cover, so that I can pop in my trickle charger more easily and I've changed over the infotainment for a unit with wireless android auto. I wouldn't really trust a main dealer with that, maybe some car audio specialist but preferred to do it myself. Will take it down to do the service and get the stamp though...
  2. I had the same idea, so did get an Evora now rather than later. My kids are 5 and 2 which should give me a couple of years. Was able to fit 2 class 3 Isofix seats in the back. Biggest constraint was the roof line which was in the way of the side impact protectors and the booster is basically stealing the kids leg room as their feet go underneath the front seats. Managed to find a seat with just the side impact and no real booster which I think is great and it even has orange contrast stitching just like my 400. The seat is Casualplay Backfix which is a Spanish and I had to order it from abroad but was happy to find something which fits.
  3. It's been faded to blue on every Evora I've seen so far, so seems to be very common
  4. Unfortunately, i can't seem to change my title which isn't really great... Can anyone give me a hint on how the Isofix points were meant to work on the 400?
  5. Hey gentlemen, I have recently joined the club of the lotus owner, having previously only owned a car with a lotus engine. Now I'm trying to figure out how the Isofix points on the 400 work. I have found a class 3 which is a perfect fit but I really can't make out how the isofix points are supposed to be used. In the owners manual it does say that the carpet would be perforated but I have removed it and can see no such perforation. The space underneath also doesn't seem big enough to access the points without making use of the (seemingly not available) perforation. Any hints for a new owner? Thanks Georg
  6. Which Getrag gearbox is it? I would have the 235/5 for a Jensen Healey available which fits onto 907 engine as is. The only issue for a Lotus would be to find the right bell housing...

    Air filter box

Hi, I am looking for the air filter box preferably the clamp type, actually the offsite of the engine but I will consider to buy the whole thing. Best would be if it's located in the UK due to postage costs. Regards Georg
  8. LooseCannon, I know it's been a long time since you offred to scan the articles of the Elite tests. I am going to buy an Elite S1 and be very pleased to get any information I can as it is really hard to find elsewhere. Could you scan these articles for me? Georg
