Not in the south west, but these guys have a great reputation.

Our local council can only recycle plastic trays if they’re clear. Anything coloured, and it gets put in the domestic waste.
I was once employed as the technical manager at a thermoplastics company, and we regularly used to add a percentage of reground coloured plastic with virgin material. The products were more translucent, but they still sold, albeit with a shorter shelf-life. Throwing away stuff I know can be recycled is heartbreaking.

I understand the binnacle being a dark grey to reduce reflection but I get a huge amount of reflection off it on the windscreen at the moment. Sometimes it can be very off putting and difficult to concentrate on the road ahead.
Even with the raven grey, I still suffer from reflections in the windscreen.

Why "needs"?
I appreciate we all want everything to work fine, but given that I don't rely on the fuel gauge anyway, why does it matter if it works or not?
You can use the trip meter-fill the car, refill when you've done 200 miles.
In my opinion, it needs fixing or replacing because if something is fitted to a car, then it should work as intended. Having a fuel gauge that doesn't work properly would drive me nuts, and I couldn't be doing with monitoring the trip counter, except perhaps as a temporary measure. If I was buying a car, I would expect everything to work, and the same is true if I'm driving.
Each to his own.

Mine groans on occasion, and that's with a brand new pump fitted. It's done so for the last 10 years, and I live with it.

The inclusion of a head gasket set in the photos, and that dreadful stripe, meant I lost interest.

The gauge needs to be repaired, or replaced. A professional repair won't be cheap, but neither is a new gauge.

I think that hamster was the last straw.
Only one up the Jap's eye? Pah, I've had 3.
Yeah, but you paid for the last two.

Cover bolts are M8.
@sailorbob My parts manual lists them as A075W1021Z but doesn't specify the size. An Internet search lists that number as an M5 x 20 for an Exige, amongst other things. Weird!

Congrats to Lando on his first win! I’m hoping for some competition to fend off Max. But one swallow doth not a summer make, so fingers crossed!

I thought it sounded more like a calming cream to be applied after the invasion.
Calming prior to the invasion. -
Beware reflections!
Even with a cream interior, the binnacle and crash pad are dark grey from the factory for that very reason.

My mate’s grandad was on the bins. He died at 49.

I’m pretty sure Anulox is the invasive procedure Sparky’s just been on the receiving end of.

That’s explains it, then.
We all thought you were going for the North Korean knock-off.

I’d rather my lad work on the bins than sitting on his arse.

Enough about you, are the nurses fit?
There’s a nice pair of boys called Julian and Rupert, but it’s difficult to see when your head’s being forced into a pillow.- 2

Sadiq Khan back in with an increased majority🤢
The increased majority will no doubt be votes cast by all those grateful people he single-handedly saved from dying from air pollution. 😉- 1

And the year?
What is your boost gauge supposed to show at WOT?
-
It’d be handy if you told us what year/model.
Do you have the engine-driven charge cooler pump, or an electric one?
-
And they never left any rubbish behind.

I hope all this doesn’t mean I’ll have to do my own cam belt change.

Do you have a specific engine performance problem, and if so, what is it?
Do you have fault codes showing?
Alunox what are the chances?

Is the turbo flange still too far forward, or has it been adjusted?
