  1. Bugger. Home from work and sold out hours ago. That's very disappointing.
  2. This is excellent news. Too much negativity about its only enough for this or that. It's only positive. Geely have done well with Volvo. Give them a chance to do well with Lotus. Just don't expect it to be the same Lotus as the past. It will build on the heritage but times have changed. Lotus must change with it. Celebrate the history and look forward to the future.
  3. Toasty Couldn't touch my knob.
  4. This thread needs an update. Yesterday on the Loire.
  5. On the D952 at Saint Clement de Levees heading towards Saumur. Nice to see you and share a wave.
  6. Usually get a wave or flash from any lotus whether in the Evora or Excel
  7. RIP. He'll be a hard act to follow. Hope the Alfa revival continues
  8. Love a good thunderstorm but I will continue to relax on the banks of The Loire.
  9. In France at the moment. Used RAC for cover. Seems to be the best deal for cover including recovery to home which you will want.
  10. Most cops here aren't armed so if they drew their weapons he would have been really fucked.
  11. I tend to use mine getting away from Swindon. Might explain lack of sightings.
  12. That's at least 10 years from production. It is still just in promising research phase so it will need to be productionised and then intercept car manufacturers development schedules with all of their reliability testing.
  13. Agree with all that. Apart from them not working the driver will be sitting waiting the the "automated systems" to react losing valuable driver reaction time.
  14. Telsa branding of autopilot is poor and misleading. Plus they are beta testing with lives. The only one worse is Uber. Tesla's camera supplier (Movidius) disowned them lost the business rather than be associated with the "car crash" that was coming stating that the capabilities were being over hyped.
  15. Carbon Grey 2014 S with paprika interior.
  16. That was me taking Li'l Fecker out for a spin. Saw a blue Elise on the way up the hill and you on the way back down.
  17. Mine arrived in the post. Some delays with the digital version still.
  18. Patience. I've provided all the facts and we are communicating amicably. I want to make sure there isn't a potential underlying condition and it looks like there is a possibility that they have seen before where the master cylinder leaks fluid into the servo.
  19. I'm not asking for anything. Just don't want them to do it again. Doubt I will use them again.
  20. Not really today but I'll post here anyway. I had my Evora serviced recently at a well known main dealer. As part of the work they replaced the brake fluid as per recommended interval. Not long after on a drive the brakes didn't feel right. Very spongy on second press of pedal. Later on that drive they almost vanished with the pedal almost going to the floor. By now the car was 200 miles from the servicing garage so I arranged for a local specialist to take a look. They found air in the rear brakes and a lot of contamination in the brake fluid reservoir. Not good if the dealer had not bled the brakes properly. Fortunately I was not driving in a spirited manner and noticed the change. I have provided feedback to the dealer so that they can invesitgate and if necessary improve their procedures so this doesn't happen to anyone else.
  21. Possibly but not that simple as a lot of the materials will be imported. Still. I agree more likely to do with diesel decline.
  22. They are Maine coons. Love the tiara.
