  1. Thats been on the market around that price for years now.
  2. My old LC is up for auction once more, this'll be the 4th change of owner in 2 years. https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/auctions/1993-vauxhall-lotus-carlton-6nJR6n?utm_campaign=Broadcast | Thursday Newsletter | 01%2F07%2F21&utm_term=01EGRHZZP7G4PSH9DGK0STHMY5&utm_medium=email&utm_source=Newsletter&utm_content=None&_kx=EBKlGYJchVH6sSN8TAkn5fiqYzCttBxsHtMF4i9XH44%3D.X5QLxS
  3. I really dont know and i have looked for the answer, its not in their FAQ`s but seems they have sold up to £48k`s worth of tickets already. Maybe its the same on here, its a risk they take.
  4. Yes thats how it works, whoever wins it, if they dont want it could easily sell for over £40k, it was on ebay 3 weeks ago for £56k, I assume it didnt well on there so the owner decided to go through the raffle process, which if they sell all the tickets then theyll get around £65k for it.
  5. My old Lotus Carlton that i sold in July 2019 is back on the market again here: https://dreamcargiveaways.co.uk/current-competitions/lotus-carlton-or-38000-tax-free/ Still looking stunning and the price has come down a little too. Good value for money.
  6. Ive seen this on ebay last week, it sounds quite good and is a decent price to sell IMO. However the sills were done over 10 years ago now i would want to just take a look once more. Timing chain is another area that would need to be checked to see if they have been inspected or even changed around 100k miles, as the tensioners would have started to crack and fall to pieces. Apartf rom that it looks a good car at that price.
  7. That car has been for sale at around £124k for about two years already so its dropped a bit possibly due to CV-19, its the one that sold at auction for about £95k and totally agree its not worth that money when you can pick up genuine good solid LCs for around £45k to £50k.
  8. 6% sellers fee plus all the baggage that comes with it...
  9. Blimey that went for £38k, i was surprised it got that high. I hope the new owner has deep pockets.
  10. As i understand it, this one for sale above, has never had any body work done on it in its entire life and that there is rust just starting to show on the rear arches. Anyone interested please tread very carefully.
  11. Hi Mike Hes not on here but is on Autobahnstormers, thanks for you comments on the car, I wont be going to Haynes soon as i go back to work before the next one. I will give you a shout when i next go and maybe you can come up to look around it.
  12. I know its not Lotus but just wanted to let you know the sale of the Lotus Carlton was not in vain, i got something rather decent. Its V12 Vantage S, with a few options.
