@Rambo sad old Bernie just likes stirring things up The FIA just don’t have enough backbone to take appropriate action, they have no backbone at all
  2. @DanRA few days after the bridge was partially destroyed there was speculation that it was Russia’s own doing. It appeared to have been carefully planned not to cause too much damage so that it could be partially reopened within 24 hours. Plus of course it gave Putin the excuse he was looking for as a reason to escalate the war in the way that he has since. What I find amazing is that Putin, his ministers and the Kremlin invent so many lies and become convinced by their own lies that the lies quickly turn into reality in their heads.
  3. ^^^^^^with Starmer and Barbie generally continually repeating the same old rhetoric
  4. When will the media start to report things correctly. Headline “Protester sprays paint on Aston Martin showroom” totally incorrect. If they must report it the headline should read “Vandal commits criminal damage to Aston Martin showroom” Please, please, please can the media send their reporters on a course to learn the difference between a protester and a vandal. The fact that they film themselves doing it just shows that they expect to get away with just a slap on the wrist. We definitely need some real justice from the courts in this country. https://news.sky.com/video/share-12722077
  5. I do fear what type of PM Starmer would be with that aggressive Barbie doll by his side and how the markets would react to a Labour govt. However, Starmer gave his most sensible and honest speech yet (or probably his only sensible one) last week when he told Labour MPs “we have been gifted an opportunity, an opportunity which I never thought would happen,, so don’t ruin it by starting any infighting within the Labour movement”
  6. I went to the sperm donor clinic and the nurse said 'can you masturbate in the cup?' - I said 'I'm good but I'm not sure I'm competition standard'. I found a note on the fridge from my wife saying "Its not working - I've gone back to my Mothers" ... I checked and the milk's still cold?! Dunno what she's on about.
  7. The media in this country are out of control. They live in the gutters and sewers of society constantly stirring things up by the way in which they report events etc and give a voice to idiotic minorities who would go away if they were not afforded the publicity which the useless media gives them. off topic but take these “just stop oil” hooligans, not protesters just attention seeking hooligans. They rejoice in the attention given to them by the media. The next time they glue themselves to a wall just leave them there and provide baskets of eggs & tomatoes for the inconvenienced public to throw at them.
  8. Seems another appropriate time to bring this one up again
  9. Many Tory MPs, including some of the ones who supported and voted for her, are saying with that speech she has hastened her demise. One reported as saying “I sat there with my hands covering my eyes, it was so bad”
  10. Truss is setting a fine example to the youth of today, even though they don’t need it. Her message to the country “no need to take responsibility for your actions, just find someone else to pin it on!”
  11. @ramjetPutin is trying to demonstrate strength because he knows how much NATO back off when he does. So far it’s a war of kindergarten words and really time that NATO showed some balls and called his bluff. Needs planning carefully and the US &Biden need to keep their mouths shut about what they are doing. Why does the US want to tell the World what they are doing rather than just getting on with it. They are always revealing their hand to Putin and he is just laughing at them. One thing for sure, but they can’t let him continue as is BTW, a bit off topic but I hope the floods in Victoria currently being reported here haven’t adversely affected you

Still publicly proclaiming their innocence. Little Jack now trying to get out of his corner but sounding more like his kids every day “wasn’t me”

Now that the FIA have confirmed that RB broke the budget cap and we’re also guilty of another procedural breach, shouldn’t Mercedes and Ferrari turn the tables on Little Jack and sue him for defamation.
  14. So, according to Putin the attack on the Crimea-Russia bridge was a terrorist attack by Ukraine. How did Putin get those magic mirrors that he has all around his premises? You know the ones I mean, those that when he looks in to them he sees the reflection of an Angel🤔
  15. You could try this approach, although not guaranteed to work https://fb.watch/f_jt_TBkH6/

    Q. When is a breach of the cap not a breach? A. When it’s only a small breach Well, that’s logical then 🤔 Meanwhile Mercedes are handed a $25,000 fine because Hammy wore a small nose stud. Where is the logic in that v a small budget cap breach? Aren’t they both small 🤔 Victimisation anyone?
  17. Same as you @DDubyai avoided it until 2 weeks ago. I was advised I was eligible for an anti-viral infusion so had that the day after testing positive and after 48hours I felt 100%, then managed to test negative 6 days later. Only downside is that I had to cancel my next booster & rearrange for 21st Oct. If you could get any of the anti-viral drugs out there I would recommend it
  18. Wishing and hoping that you have a quick recovery @peteand continue with an uninterrupted lively lifestyle 🤞🤞
  19. ^^^^^^Absolutely correct but no doubt she’ll be getting loads of flack from those that like to be outraged^^^^^^^^^
  20. I see that Lavrov has done his usual speech at the UN and then walked out again before he really gets challenged. Why the fcuk don’t they now arrest him and send him for trial to The Hague for being complicit in the war crimes committed by Russia in Ukraine? No doubt there is something in the UN charter preventing this but Russia don’t comply with the charter on many levels. In my book 2 wrongs do a make a right!
  21. Fabulous shots Andrew👍 Similar ones here from our trip through the Tyrol in to Italy and then Switzerland
  22. If correct @TdM it is a tactic which will hopefully backfire and result in a large uprising against Putin and the Kremlin, or maybe he will threaten his own people with nuclear weapons.
  23. Hopefully @Bibsthe reaction will result in mass demonstrations against Putin and the Kremlin but I’m not so sure since the blame for this war has been firmly placed upon the West in Putin’s address to the nation. Trouble is I think he genuinely believes what he is saying🙄 Apparently flights out of Russia are filling up fast as people try to escape the mobilisation and country. https://news.sky.com/story/price-of-flights-leaving-moscow-rockets-with-many-sold-out-following-putin-announcement-12702490 Google searches for 'how to leave Russia' spiked ahead of Putin speech Data from Google Trends shows a spike in Russians searching for how to leave the country ahead of Vladimir Putin's speech. The announcement was supposed to come yesterday, but was instead delayed until this morning. Google queries on "how to leave Russia" peaked at 6pm Moscow time yesterday, when it was expected the Russian president would declare martial law and conscription. Demand for flights to leave Russia has also soared, with prices of planes from Moscow increasing dramatically.
