***** I have a new GT 410 Sport IPS and miss an engine oil temp gauge. The blue and red "oil temp situation" indicators are insufficient for such a fine machine as the Evora. I therefore mounted digital temp. meters for: 1) Engine oil temp meter 2) Auto transmission oil temp.meter 3) Compressor cooling temp.meter The location of the temp. senders mounted: ad 1) Engine bloc / hose connector >>> transporting hot engine oil to coolers ad 2) Transmission housing / hose connector >>> transporting hot transmission oil to cooler ad 3) Compressor housing / hose connector >>> transporting hot water to compressor water cooling Location of gauges: ad 1) beyond the Alpine navigation (right) etc. ad 2) beyond the Alpine navigation (left) etc. ad 3) above the rear mirror.

True colors, as blue are nice.......I love them. Have a Wankel-Mazda RX-8 in blue......a fantastic car with Lotus-like road going / steering / braking performance.. A couple of weeks ago a dark grey metallic Evora GT 410 Sport was the last new Evora available at the official Lotus distributor in the Netherlands. This color is within my preferences and therefore did not hesitate to purchase this last one and traded in my Esprit Turbo SE. Since 2009 only 20 new Evora's have been sold by the Lotus importer.......a further 10-20 2nd hand units privately imported from the continent countries. With 40 Evora's present in the Netherlands it is a super rare car. Dealer prices are ridiculous high due to an extra ordinary heavy environmental / CO pollution taxation (socalled BPM) in the Netherlands; no other country on the continent has this crazy situation..... My Evora GT 410 Sport originally had a list price of approx € 185.000 = GBP 161.000,- Because it was unsaleable for that price the list price was lowered to € 161.000,- = GBP 140.000 I received a further discount plus trade in of the 1990 Esprit Turbo SE at GBP 32.625,- https://vanderkooisportscars.nl/aanbod/?carnr=14331252-AWD I am nearly 78 years of age and very very happy with my new Evora....... as well as thankful that I can afford that to myself. -
***** Very, very nice Esprit! Congratulations !

Hi, what do you mean with a handful? Is that 5-10.....10-20.......20-30.......30-40......or what else? Can you please estimate, I am interested to know since I purchased the last new one GT410 in the Netherlands 2 weeks ago..... Many thanks in advance, Ruud -
***** In the Netherlands.......v.d. Kooi.....the official Lotus importer.. https://vanderkooisportscars.nl/ You can try if they have one available......as far as I know you can rent several Lotus types...... Combining with a 2/3 days trip to the beautiful Netherlands? BTW: a one hour trip is imo sufficient to know whether the Evora is attractive or not........ I purchased a new GT 410 Sport last week from v.d. Kooi and must say that after a 1/2 -3/4 hr test drive now the fun and attractiveness of my purchase increases more and more....it's incredible.......really !!!! I traded in a Esprit Turbo SE....... Regards, Ruud

***** In 1993 when I was 50 years old I bought my 1st sports car, a 1990 Lotus Esprit Turbo SE with 15.000 mls on the odo...... I immediately did fell in love with this Lotus and the love remained all those 28 years..... Today, (I hope to become 78 years old in June), I bought and picked up the last new available Evora in the Netherlands and left my Esprit in good hands with the Lotus importer. It was rather difficult to say goodbye and I felt a little sad to leave her. Keeping was no option as I have in my garage room for only one car (and a 1975 Honda Goldwing GL1000 K1 motorbike) while I own 2 more cars (daily drivers)......... When saying goodbye and handing her over I kissed her farewell on the roof and thanked her for all the nice years together. My new Lotus is a Evora GT 410 Sport with IPS ................. -

***** Don't neglect the 1990+ Turbo SE series with their 264/280 (30 sec) bhp and 0-60 mph in 4,7 sec's performance.... It rides very comfortable........ after a 500 mls journey you still get out fairly fresh.....
