  1. I've tried lubing the dash locating pins as they are plastic covered as the Early Elise is known for this issue and no luck. I've tried tightening zip ties. spaying a silicon spray around the inside using a long spray nozzle. no luck I'm a bit scared to pull too much of the dash apart but managed some access under the dash by reving the glove box and associated trim. and some flexibility is needed to get in there. I've sort of learnt to live with it but it's annoying
  2. I also have White 400, which I love. And yes mine also has the dash squeak . The black sharks fins look good, I need to get my clear ones replaced.
  3. I have replaced 3 of the units on my 2016 ( First RHD Manual in Aus.) I do them as they fail. There rather expensive OEM and them having them replaced. The TPMS on the 400 are made by Alligator in the US. I bought some generic duel band sensors and an Alligator programmer. The Programmer doesn't recognize generic sensors so it Alligator only. The Programmer need to be plugged into your PC and linked to there website. You need to sign up and log in. The Later EVORA's are listed under the US not UK and for the EVORA GT.
  4. I see Harry Metcalfe has sold his EMIRA, from my take, disappointment, and bought a McLaren. some comments say he had to spend 80k more to replace the EMIRA. personally I don’t see it that way. I cannot help but wonder if lotus has lost the plot with the market chasing current crop of cars to keep GEELY happy I've said this before, LOTUS’s last crop of cars were the last real LOTUS’s
  5. I own a 2016 400 manual, that’s why I found it interesting, By the comments the engine is in a different state of tune, and that may be in part to the Different supercharger
  6. Yes this is an EMIRA review however he makes some interesting EVORA comments
  7. I’ve been in the states and Canada a month, on hols and the first lotus I have seen was last Friday on Victoria island BC White EVORA 410/GT any on here?

  9. Who is the German manufacturer of the forged wheels that was advertised on the TLF a while back
  10. I thought that a a thread with links to aftermarket wheels for all the EVORA series was worth having. also discussion about what people have bought and your thoughts these are just some I found https://www.gregsraceparts.com/products/braid-performance-forged-wheels-for-lotus-evora https://forzaaa.com/products/forged-wheels-rims-19-20-inch-for-lotus-evora
  11. What EVORA do you have, I have a 400 and removed the rear seat padding, and it’s a bit noisier.
  12. Interesting discussion as I hoped, Yes there is a market placement difference and it has proved successful, with 95 Plus orders last year. and from those I have seen buying them its definitely a new audience. However there is a more analogue aspect to the EVORA I love as in "effect" its the last analogue LOTUS and its rare, the instruments are a start with, the 400 + dash as some one put it a nod to the Type 14 Elite, To me the EVORA is a classic sports car/GT but with out the Exotic car headaches. and the "WTF is that" factor
  13. I had my 400 serviced yesterday at SSC in Sydney, taking to the guys there seems a number of EVORA owners have decided they prefer the EVORA to The EMIRA. I am one as to be honest the EMIRA is a gorgeous car, but there is something generic and boring about the interior. I am not a fan of full digital dashes and I don't like the seats they dont grip as well and the electric movement is to slow as I have the seat all the way forward. I much prefer the traditional more analogue EVORA which to me is the end of an era.
  14. By reference to Jayemm lotus made 6117 EVORA's. I recon there more EMIRA's than EVORA's in existence.
  15. OK how many of you have had the comment. wana swap cars?
