I'm a West Coaster, so can't help with most of your questions. But - criminal to come that far and not get up to the Highlands. At least a little. Easy loop in a day : up to Perth, A93 through Glenshee, then Braemar. left onto A935 past the Lecht ski centre. To grantown on Spey. Down the A9 for as short a time as possible, picking up the A85 to Spean Bridge. On to Fort William, then A82 through Glencoe - heading back East once you get to Crianlairich. Some epic scenery, but more importantly - some epic roads. 8)

Onlyhad the car 3weeks and it was fully checked over by Murray's , but..... Wiper is a bit 5hit Thunder & lightning on the M6 tonight meant 40mph was marginal even with the wipers on full. TADTS or is there a good replacement?

Not tried on a Lotus, but the only solution that worked on our 944S2 was the Loctite pad System

Found the pressure discussion here i'm currently trying 31F 33R on Sports Racer. Feels great, but since I've barely had the car a week I have little to compare it against.

You probably want to find the discussion on tyre pressure too - recommendations for the 400 on MPSS are much lower than those for the Pirellis on the series1.

It just occurred to me that none of my jacks will go under the evora. (Same for my last car, but it had a scissor Jack in the boot that could be used to raise it enough to slip a trolley underneath). Any recommendations? Cheaper is better - we Scots have a reputation to uphold.

Thanks Miguel - very interesting. Based on the HowManyLeft numbers I assume the "53" quoted is the number of manual cars, and doesn't include IPS varients (?)

Interested as it took a while for me to find one in my desired spec. I've seen this thread which lists some overall Evora build numbers, but I've not seen any stats specific to the Sports Racer? Looking on HowManyLeft suggests the following numbers. (Although anyone that has ever had to send their V5 back for correction will appreciate that this data isn't 100% accurate). Normally Aspirated = 21 (there were 22 at one point, so at least one has presumably been written off). Supercharged = 56 Supercharged with IPS 'box = 19 Total = 96 (These numbers include SORN cars). Does anyone have any actual build numbers from Lotus?

That looks like one I spotted in Sunbury (on Green St according to google maps) about 4yrs ago. Could be be completely wrong (after this length of time) but worth someone in the area doing a drive-past?

Thanks ricvx. i've managed to get to the point of rapid flashing - which indicates success - but when I then press the button nothing happens. i'm reversed up to the garage door as opposed to facing it - is this my problem? i'm in Glasgow too - might need to come see you! Edit: had a crazy brain wave and turned the car around - made no difference.

Hi, New owner here - 2014 S SportsRacer - have tried searching but couldn't find any threads (?) Has anyone managed to get their homelink system to work? We have a Garador system. I've tried 1. Putting the Evora into "learn" mode as per the manual, trying to replicate an existing fob - unfortunately the Garador transmitters only send a signal for a couple of seconds - which doesn't appear to be long enough for the car to recognise it? 2. Putting the Garador system into "learn new fob" mode - and then pressing one of the 3 car homelink buttons instead. This didn't work.

Hello all, Took delivery today of a 2014 Evora S Sports Racer. Previous owner on here. Have run a 6.2l Vauxhall (actually Holden Special Vehicles) VXR8 for the last 5 yrs. It was a fantastic all-rounder, and brimming with character, but it couldn't be as dynamically focussed as an Evora. one of my regular driving buddies had a 2010 Evora non-S which impressed enormously, and now has an S3 Exige which totally blew me away, will get up to the highlands with him shortly - along with another driving buddy who has just added a 2-11 to his already amazing garage. evora is simply epic. Steering feel. Direction changes. Ride. Grip. Punch. Brakes. Wow. And to top it all off - it looks stunning!
