  1. Yeah it's ruined. I've tried so many dressings and waxes etc to try and make it black again, but it never lasts. Getting it resprayed slowly over the coming months, hopefully!
  2. Gave it a long overdue wash, and removed the stickers. Got fed up of waiting for them to be made in black so this "faded" look will do! Paint correction and bandit mask in gloss or metallic is next on the list for summer.
  3. See I don't mind em. "Ghosted" look is nice on black!
  4. Took the plynth off the rear - found whoever's put my plate on drilled through it, the plynth, and into my clam 🤬😡 Doubt I can get it sorted by the dealer who sold it to me - worth a shot 😂😂
  5. I run 215/265 MPS4 on the cast wheels on my 350 - no issues. Naturally gained a bit of ride hide at the front, but as it's my daily it's not the end of the world.- Orignally came with P zeros 205/265
  6. Finally got to use the exige again, albeit not for a great reason, but a solid 3 hours driving today. Forgot how bad wind noise and buffeting is without a roof! Got a fair few negative looks and comments mumbled... but then the kids lost their minds, and got an obligatory pull or blip of the throttle Before anyone moans it was a legit reason - needed medicine for a pet.
  7. Having had my 350 for about 2 years now, I'd say go for a used 410. Bout the same price as a new 350, but higher spec and tasty power/carbon. Also tend to be nicer colours
  8. Had him for a month now as a foster, but he's now officially our adopted gingerbear Meet Kilo, 47kgs of stubborn "it's always playtime" muscle...
  9. Not being rude, just asking, but did you let the car idle for a solid 10-15 minutes before driving? Then drive at varying speeds and loads for 30 mins (not WOT) ?
  10. Excited to see this progress. I personally would keep the carbon rear but everything else I'd do. Calipers I'm 90% sure can be sanded down - but I'm no pro!
  11. Can relate - when I was a kid (under 5) I used to ride our Rottie cross as a horse... he was a big boy too 😂
  12. Had our foster dog for a week today - Can't share details or pictures publically until we adopt - but my god I love him already. He's a total arsehole sometimes to walk, comes with the breed and his size - hes underweight at only 46kgs - but damn. He follows me everywhere I go, can't be more than 5 minutes without me, but not in a whiny separation anxiety way, more in a "I want to be near you" way. He's house trained and crate trained, so all the "hard" work has been done, just refining what we want him to do. Can't wait to share photos in a few weeks - but can't believe how its changed me already
  13. Applied to a dog shelter Wednesday last week and they confirmed receipt same day, yet didn't hear back at all. Sent off 3 chase up emails, as well as a Facebook message. Nothing. Come out of a meeting today and see an email saying "The dog has visitors on Sunday - we will let you know should she still be needing a home after the meet and greet" Well if you bloody organised yourself better that could've been me! Now I know they are a charity/rescue, but the other 2 I applied to around the same time have already approved me for a dog, and have booked visits within 5 days of my original application. Only reason I'm annoyed is because she is the only dog of her breed in the south of the UK of that age available, so not exactly an easy replacement should it fall through
  14. To add to the dog thread, and update - I have been approved for taking a dog from Staffie and Stray Rescue Now just to schedule a meet up with the dog while I wait for the other rescues to approve me and then its decision time - a lovely problem to have!!
  15. On the flip side, being young they also want 10 years experience from people aged 20... Still, sorry.
  16. Following on from my last post in here, I have a house inspection from the local charity/shelter tonight. All things going well I'll be getting a dog Now I have to work out how to fit the sodding thing in a car, my only car is the Exige and I don't want the dog in there ( most likely to be a Rottie, Bullmastiff or other Mastiff breed ) Maybe time to get an Evora *Man maths intensifies*
  17. The GRP lights have small indicators and I feel people won't notice them. I'm sure if I took the relay out theyd go back to normal
  18. I get rapid flashing, but I have a relay in mine. However I prefer it, passed an MOT with it, and makes it more noticeable I think
  19. I thought it was more to do with flow of gasses? Can't block it off or the engine will have serious issues. Much like revving the piss out of a car and sticking a potato in the exhaust, and duct taping it shut.
  20. Filled in and emailed off my dog adoption papers. Hopefully following a house check we will be eligible to adopt a dog from Staffie and Strays Rescue Waited years for this, now just need to be patient a little longer - already eyeing up where to put the dog bed 😂
  21. I imagine it'll cut out some road noise/NVH once the sills and floor is totally covered?
  22. 100% But it's the whole process. Our house took over 3 months - no forward chain - took us threatening to walk away for them to finally complete. Lawyers say X isn't doing Y while Z says lawyers aren't doing anything... Brother is in the process of buying a new house in America, within a week he had pre approval for the mortgage, made an offer on the house, received and accepted an offer on his and should be complete within 6 weeks at most of the start date. Why can't the English process be so easy and quick?
  23. The contrasting black really ties the car together, but I wish it was gloss/metallic black. The soft black stuff stains and never looks clean/new. Luckily it's not too much work to fix the matt panels on a 350, but the rear mask might be more trouble.
  24. My start up procedure is simple: Crank engine untill it starts Push sport button Push exhaust button Push loud pedal once warm Smile. I know sport opens the exhaust normally but became a habit from driving without sport mode
  25. Just don't forget to get the exhaust override button fitted - with it closed it just doesn't sound right
