I have to replace a broken rear tie rod and have a few questions. Do I go with the original at £100 or do I go with the Spitfire engineering upgrade at considerably more? If I choose the upgrade do I have to do both sides or can I just replace the broken one? The upgrade is lighter and stronger. I wouldn't notice the difference if it was lighter (apologies to ACBC). It is stronger, is the original part designed to be sacrificial to protect the bits that it connects to? Delivery timescales may be the deciding factor as I want to drive my Lotus. Does anybody have experience of sourcing this part?

If you are turning right and there is a pedestrian in the road, definitely don't run them over, even if you have been waiting a long time.😁 Hasn't this been the rule on the continent. I know when I have been driving abroad, I have always had to give way to pedestrians crossing the road.

Mercedes Benz won the constructors championship but I bet they will be considering whether it is worth all the money they invest in the sport when the outcomes can be affected so arbitrarily and the rules flouted or interpreted at whim.

Sheffield used to have a regulated bus service before Margaret Thatcher, it was great! 🙂 She forced the de-regulation, fares went up, routes were changed, people moved from the bus service to private cars, the roads became congested, journey times increased. ☹️

Just checking that you do know to slide the seat back when you are getting in and out, that makes it easier. When you are in you can slide the seat forward to your normal driving position.

Hi Bas It looks great, you'll certainly get noticed in that. Be prepared for people wanting to talk to you about it. Getting in and out is an acquired technique. The more you practice it the better you get at it. The immobiliser is a timing thing. When you come to the locked car, unlock it and enter, put the key in and turn the ignition on, the immobiliser is off and the car will start. If you leave it too many seconds the immobiliser will kick in and the red ring comes on the dash and you have to press the button. But also, if you come to the car and it has been unlocked for a while that will also have timed in the immobiliser before you even put the key in the ignition.

The wing mirrors are different and it also says it doesn't have the Lidar periscope that we have seen in the teaser. It also states that the Polestar 3 is going to be constructed in Charleston USA whereas the 132 is going to be constructed in Wuhan. If they were the same vehicle wouldn't they be manufactured in the same factory? With regards to the Lidar periscope it is situated at the front of the roof but along it's rear edge there seems to be a seam that goes the whole width of the roof.... unusual.... What's that all about?

Perhaps it should be renamed stealth green. 😄
