  1. Do the Nitrons really require servicing as they suggest? I can't find the documentation, but they said every 12 track days or something like that they should be sent in for a rebuild. I have probably 25 or so on the clubsports and they seem fine. Is there a symptom I should look for?
  2. I really want to try the Eagle f1 Supercar 3Rs as everyone rages about them, but they do not have an XL rating for our rear sizes (2017 400). Would I be ok with the SL rated rear? Would it stand up to aggressive track use? I know one forum user in the US running them and he loves them.
  3. Circling back to this. On track, the Nitron suggested setting of +10 clicks front and rear work great. I have 5 track days on the books with them and the car has never handled better (less roll, more stable, easy to correct, etc.) I played with +15 clicks which is closer to stock if not even more subtle on the bumps since there is less unsprung weight. I have never had an inertia switch issue and found out that the original friend of mine that did was using a pervious owners Nitrons and the bumper stops were missing, so the root cause may be lying in that somewhere.
  4. btw, the Cup 2 Connects wear very well. I got at least 6 track days in so far with no edge wear. I have a second set ready to go in, but my next tire after that will be the Goodyear F1 Supercar 3R. They have gotten rave reviews in print and from track peers.
  5. I recommend kicking the habit on a track focused car. I once put it on very carefully and waited a full day before driving. The following day, it still spun to the outer driving area of the tire. I scrubbed it all off before track day.
  6. Wish to minimize the body roll in turns. Especially in the S's where I am transitioning quickly.
  7. Yes, but I bought through GRP, some of the website descriptions and pics differ but mine were delivered with 625 lb/in springs in rear and 425 up front. all four have 250 lb/in helper springs which are fully compressed once installed. I am a little concerned about being too stiff. A friend had these and liked them on track but the interia switches cut off the fuel three times in two years. As a side note, everyone should know where these are to reset them (button press) and its not advertised.
  8. I am mid install of the Nitron Club Sports on a 400 that sees ~10+ track days a year. I also have race ARB bushings on the ready. Do you suggest I wait on the ARBs? Do they make the clunking worse?
  9. Just seeing this thread now as I am mid install of my Nitron Club Sports on an Evora 400. I hope Nitron has sorted things out. The manufacture date was 2022 so fingers crossed 👍.
  10. Did you see a difference in tire wear though? Did you track many times with each setting?
  11. Also, can anyone share a track alignment that they are happy with? (stock suspension only please) I plan to have my performance indy shop do the work, not my Lotus dealer. The car is weekend only and will see 6-10 sessions per year. I am concerned with track focused performance. The tracks I go to have me no more than 200kph/125 mph with some faster 160kph/100 mph turns as well as technical twisties. Thanks.
  12. New owner and member as of this weekend
