update so bless our oldest lab is still abit wobbly and hold her head slightly to one side but when she breaks into a gentle trot you wudnt know owt is wrong, toilet functions have been restored etc so she battles on 😍

vets said if she had a siezure that lasted for less than 5 mins she should be fine ? so although still wobbly she took herself outside for a wee (lab not wife) she had a bit to eat and seemed usual lab type i dont even taste it i eat so quick, any after care things we can do bogle ?

eldest lab had a stroke last night poor gurl 😞 better news this orning though as she has started to walk abit better and had a drink😚

personally unless space is an issue i wouldnt ditch the immersion tank as if you have an issue with the boiler youve got no hot water, at least with an immersion you can switch the electrical element on and have a tank of hot water

jeez took the vivaro for a mot with fingers crossed that it would be painless, failed on a couple of small things (sigh of relief) then lost all the brakes on drive home 😞 reckon the brake test has fooked sommit

my lil sis was having a quiet quick drink in a local pub earlier, in walks her ex husband (very acrimonious divorce some years ago and still legal issues ensuing) he woofs two pints waiting for a take away next door then leaves, lil sis checks her car before driving off to find a 4" screw wedged at an angle under one tyre, pub has cctv but not sure if owt will be picked up, landlord and regulars appaled

beeen feeling proper shite with man flue symptoms for 6 weeks and finally got to see my dr yesterday (a joy in itself) and so he couldnt find any thing much wrong and prescribed me a nasal spray ??? im thinking WTF but what do i know, gets home and gives meself a puff, not sure it worked so did it again then again before realising it had no taste nor smell and it was indeed "puffing" almost instantly felt better and best nights sleep in ages !!! so what with the happy pills and the nasal spray all i need now is some viagra and a KFC and my life will be complete !!! Happy New Year to one and all and may it bring you health and happiness !!! 🥰

i have an airbrush / compressor set up i bought for model making (not that ive used it much) when i bought it i asked if i could use car paints and he supplied one with differing washers in that might otherwise perish with the thinners but i havent tried it on car paints

and i thought i had a shite day !!! 😚 had a bad car accident when i was 18 and suffered damage to my eye brow / lid and there was talk of a similar grafting procedure, it wasnt needed and now i raise an eyebrow at a bit of skirt on a purely voluntary basis !!!

james and his 2 boys lost their wife / mum 2 years ago aged a mere 50 and a while back they put the house up for sale for a fresh start, took a while to sell and we said dont loose the buyer and or go into rented just put your stuff in storage and move in with us, they have ended up buying their dream house and moved in yesterday which was both a moment of joy and sadness as theyve been great company and we will miss them but out of the blue james handed me and julie an envelope as thanks for letting them stay and omg we both have a day at Raymond Blanc's hotel in the cookery school (where weve eaten once a long long time ago) so "something" too look forward to next year "maybe" itd be a nice trip in the evora ?

my trusty air to air source heater had gone wrong (lost signal between inside and outside unit) i was a trained sparky but in industry / oil n gas and havent dabbled much with pcb's etc but thought it was a start run capacitor as it appeared out of range, swapped that and nowt, swapped the board for a spare i had (id mended what i thought had blown being a thyristor) and boom away it went !!! upon closer inspection the latest board seems to of suffered the same fate and in blowing the same thyristor a jumper link had been blown nearby !!! chuffed to bits and so money super market !!! total actual fix was pennies !!! 😁

she is fine !!! but vet bill was £440 😔 just hope her insurance will cover it !!!

daughter left a nearly full box of after eight mints at eye level to the latest lab pup and is now at the vets after eating them all 😔

did one of those cryptic escape rooms today with the family in a harry potter style set, was abit reluctant to go but had a fantastic hour and solved the room with 40 seconds left on the clock !! 😍
