i bought a taycan turbos s last year, with in a year : 1. the car lost £65k+ 2 last winter i waited 6 month for a heat pump replacement , along with hundreds other taycans in uk. No heating in Dec and Jan 3 Three new tyres , two were exploded when hitting potholes on road, not very big tho and was not very fast, apparently the car is too heavy, normal tyre pressure is 42, 21 inch low profile made the tyre very easy to go when hitting a bump or pothole. One tyre had the inside corner worn through and popped on motoway . 4 Vodafone server crash made my car think it's stolen locked itself, cannot turn on with key and had to tow to the garage to fix. this is also affecting many Porsche taycans 5 Just replace the cooling fan as the design of the vent are in the wheel arch and so big grid, stones and debris can easily get in and stuck, it was making grinding noise and it is not covered by warranty , fortunately i raised and they covered it for me 6 now another issue no air come out of vent, only air when internal circulation, they say the valve jammed close for fresh air, will need the car 4-5 day again 7 other issues the windows make loud high pitched noise when i lower them, every time is like killing me. The front doors are bit short, and the seat is quite low getting in and out is a pain I still like the car looks stunning, back to Eletre, if the eletre were to have all these issue it would be a disaster. they only have 13 dealers in uk and i dont want to drive 1.5 hr each time just o drive to the garage . Just the infrastructure alone, the level of the service lotus can offer is not comparable to Porsche. But the price of eletre is, i had £50s options spec and the car is £170k, with this money, you can spec any top of range cayanne GT and Taycan turbo s. Near new DBX 707 and bently Suv are also possible. In China, First Eletre owners receive lifetime warranty, free lifetime unlimited charging at Lotus super charge station network, on site maintenance and repair, so most of small issues they will come to you to repair or do the maintenance for you Do we get left time warranty here anyone know?

after a year long wait, finally we are starting to get our cars, however there are a dozen of available cars right now on the market , no wait needed, some may be customer cancellation and some are lotus uk preconfigured cars.....thay are all at the list price + options.... looks like the demond is not huge...

I have received the complete check out email, everytime i click the check out link and log into the lotus portal, i chose business and cash purchase, all I can do is click the "SAVE" however next when i log in it is the same nothing seems to be saved and I keep receiving reminders from lotus to complete the check out Anyone else had the same issue??? i don't need finance and home charge I tried to call them all this morning no one answer .. it has already pass the deadline

must be the base model the R+ starts from 120k! i might have my up for sale green R+ outside gold inside, all in and out carbon extras, 23inch alloys carbon ceramic breaks, kef speakers, camera side mirror, colour changing glass roof and so on everything you would choose total 169k spent! anyone interested? 😝

i had a taycan turbo s although looks great stunning car but the depreciation this year 60+k loss and the number of trips going to thr dealer.... made it the worst car i have ever had.... i had last Dec Jan no heating, hundreds of taycan in uk all waiting for the heat pump then the vodafone,server crash, hundreds taycan in uk all "bricked" locked itself wouldn't start for weeks because "they think the car are stolen had to be taken to dealer. back to the topic, i,wanted to have a suv, but at 170k , i know, the bently look too granny, urus is out few years now, bit bored and need a lot more money only the aston martin DBX, also out a couple of years and the inside looks bit dated range rover? too boxy and not very sporty the other thing is after owing the intelligent EVs in China, i could control the car mostly by voice, can look for anything on the Internet,when drive, such as finding an funny story or English lesson for my daughter to listen. much better self drive system. the difference is really iphone and nokia... dont like tesla.... this Eletre, it's performance and spec only urus and dbx 707 can compare . Plus it is a electric which can go through the company as i have few £m sat in the company doing nothing..... i guess there isn't any better choice....

Got the email to complete purchase today, but my feeling is bit mixed.. i spec'ed my eletre top of the range with almost everything at nearly £170k.. is it really worth it or is it a good buy? 1. at this price it is really similar if not more expensive than the taycan turbo s with similar performance and spec. i bought a 2020 taycan turbo s last year and paid 139k and today looked at the market prices start from 78k! shocking! one year it lost 60k+! Will eletre do the same? 2.lotus is made in china by Jili auto and Jili is certainly NOT a premium brand in China.. that's why it's has not sold a lot in China maybe because of it's price tag and customer reaction is a bit mixed 3. First group of owers in china had hole bunch of extre gift , discount and benefit like full lifetime warranty and free 1500 public charging kwh per,month. Here i guess nothing... 4. since confirm order and till now nearly one year the Chinese currency has,dropped 15% againat pound, but there has been not any good will,from lotus like adjusting price what you guys think i just dont want to be in the same situation losing 60k in a year on a car. i have heard the current waiting time is 10 month and anyone know if it is selling well there is demand?

Finally today i received the complete pruchase email, asking me to choose payment method and part ex etc. it says handing the car to be within 2-4 wks, anyone else know what stage is this, is my car already in UK? thanks in advance!

i spec'ed one with almost everything at £168k there is literally no communications at all apart from trying to sell me some stuff like finance, insurance and charging point. last email about the order was in June saying delivery in Oct. Test drive? no, isn't supposed to be ordered customer get test drive opportunity first?. Now in Oct,Not even an order update. really disappointed. ppl order in China has an app showing all the process stages.
