  2. It from a V8 so I guess it will fit, must say, I'm not a fan of the glass roof, just my opinion.

    JPS Exige

    Spotted in Eastbourne today
  8. So Ian, enlighten us what new boat have you gone for, I've chartered "Song and Dance" out of Chatham dockside a few times, she's a lovely Rodman 44'
  9. Should be able to make it, Michelle is going in for a small opp' in July but should be ok for it.
  10. A lovely White S2 Esprit I think on Garratt Lane Earlsfield SW17 this morning, looked and sounder lovely.
  11. Had a quick chat with the driver at the traffic lights (I was driving the black Merc Cab)
  12. The A110 wins my vote, there were 2 dumped in a driveway near to my Grandparents, the owner got quite angry and aggressive when I approached him and asked if he wanted to sell them. The last time I saw them one had a tree about 5" dia growing out through of it. There gone now along with the collection of Jag's an old Rolls and I think it was an early RX7. Makes me mad and sad that twats get hold of these great cars and the just forget them.
  13. Sounds like fun, I'm near Rochester Kent. has anyone else shown an interest? Can I put it out to another club I am a member of (North Kent Lotus Group)
  14. So Sad, I remember going to Brands Hatch with my brother many years ago to see the man drive and ride around the track, I think it was called "The John Surtees Day", I still have the program somewhere. He took to the track on some vintage kit, Barry Sheene was there and put a few laps in, John then took to the track on Barry's bike and after a couple of laps was within a couple of seconds Barry's time. What a day, What a Man!!! RIP Sir John Surtees.

    Orange Elise

Big wave to the Orange Elise in Edenbridge on Sunday. I was driving the Yellow V8 Esprit in convoy with 7 other Lotus from the North Kent Lotus Group.
  16. Great to meet you all on Sunday, and the pancakes and coffee were pretty good too, looking forward to the next one now, or the one after that. I would post some pics, but they all look the some as yours Ian. Oh hang on, what about this one
  17. Hi All, Just a quick update, Firstly can I thank you all for the invaluable advice, the rad is out, I spent the last 4 evenings under the car with a lead light, not the best way of working but there you go. I think I've been lucky, I've owned the car for 10 years so I know the rad has not been touched in that time, I only sheared 2 bolts, the remains of which came out with a little heat and some mole grips. The new red should be with me on Saturday, ( thank you SJ's). Lets hope it fits back together with as few problems. Cheers Jon.
  18. Thanks for the quick reply, sound like I've got a fun filled dirty weekend ahead, has anyone fitted a radiator from radtec?
  19. Hi All, I took the Esprit out for a run today, nothing hard, about 70 miles of gentle cruising, parked up to move some bits out of the way in the garage, when I went to put the car away it dumped a load of coolant over the drive. When I looked the car there was a stream of coolant that appeared to be coming from the near side of the rad. My question is, how hard is it to remove the radiator and who to go to for a new one if that's what's needed? Cheers Jon.
  20. I'm looking to pull the engine for turbo rebuild and other bits so the floor will be coming out. Thanks for the advice though. Still no parts cross over, anyone ? cheers Jon.
  21. Hi All, I think I need a new clutch slave cylinder, for my "96" V8, I tried to select a gear, dipped the clutch but had no peddle, checked and found the reservoir to be dry, I found the fluid under the car. Does anyone have the part cross reference for the SLAVE CYLINDER and is it much of a job. Should I change the fluid line for a braded one whilst I'm under the car? I understand the original one can expand under load when it gets hot. Cheers Jon
