  1. I have the same problem everytime i use the software, which is probably once every 5 years. You have plug into a usb port and also find out what com port that usb is in. Look at the properties of the usb ports. Once you know which one you've plugged into then go to the espritmon dorectory and goto the cfg directory and open up the lotus cfg file. It will then state a com port it will use. This must be the same as what your plugged into. If it isnt, edit the file and change the number and then save the cfg file. Now restart the program and it should work. I read the instruction manual to figure this out. See how you go.
  2. For me. Car with no passengers, 1/4 tank of fuel. Just forward of the front wheel, bottom of rubber lip to ground 110mm. Just forward of the rear wheel, bottom of side skirt to ground 170mm.
  3. Probably 60-051sch. From memory around $10/m. So around 2.5m ($25). I'd drop into your local rubber shop and get some samples, they usually cut off an inch so you can try before you buy. Clark rubber also sell the pinch weld, and you may have one of them close to you.
  4. What kind of seal are you after. My old man ran the biggest rubber store in Adelaide for 40 years. So I know a little bit about seals. :-)
  5. I had to configure/ set the USB port on espritmon, otherwise it just doesn't talk to the ecu and sits there dumb going around in circles.
  6. Looks like mine was a slow reduction in accumulator pressure over the years. Gradually got worse over probably a 2 year period. And no my brake error light never came on, and brakes have never failed, although I don't think I have a brake fail light on the S4, just the abs light. I was a little worried with replacing the accumulator today as I'm not an auto guy, but all went well. Depressurise system, unscrew old accumulator, prep the new accumulator by lubing up the new o ring, screwing on new accumulator. Half pressurise the system, check for leaks, then fully pressurise the system, test drive.
  7. My abs problem over the last twelve months was finally resolved today. Initially it was an occasional flashing abs maybe once every couple of months, then once a month, then every second trip after half a dozen of brake applications. Came up as a code 62 - low accumulator. Using espritmon and a laptop using win 7 + Aldl cable with a USB interface. Replaced the abs switch, which then caused the same 62 problem but now the flashing light came on after only 1 brake application on every drive. Replaced the accumulator today (previously replaced back in 2003) and all my abs issues have disappeared. Replacement switch was purchased from Steve at lotus marques australia, an accumulator from Steve at sj sportcars UK.
  8. It's big, but it seems to work. Chargecooler solution from Steve was super. Still running just fine after 3 years.
  9. Bought a replacement switch from Steve Taylor (Melbourne). I put the switch in first and still had the flashing abs, so obviously the one I've removed (original lotus.switch) is fine. Bought an accumulator from SJSportscars UK. Delivered in 4 days from the UK.
  10. After a year of fluffing about I finally fixed my flashing abs light. Yay. It's a great day. Now time to sell.
  11. Happy days. Last technical issue resolved to day with the replacement of the ABS accumulator. All ready for the market. :-)
  12. Trying to fault find my flashing ABS (Code 62). I replaced the ABS switch 2 weeks ago and still have the problem, so now I'm going to replace the accumulator this weekend (last replaced in 2003). Is it just a matter of: - depressurising the system - Unscrewing old - Screwing on new - Re-pressurise the system. I'll read through the manuals as well, but just wanted confirmation that the job was simple before delving in again.
  13. Happy birthday buddy. And I know I'm not late cos I personally know the 50th birthday celebrations usually last a couple of weeks.
  14. Sorry Michael, your problems are far beyond my brain capacity. If you do nee any photos of the stock setup (leads and stuff) just ask and I'll click away with the instamatic. From memory I think you have all the manuals, so can't help any further there either, so this pic is of no use to you then.

    USA vs NK

It would be a lot simpler if the US just sent in an 'Asset' and caused a nuclear detonation within NK. Then they could just blame it on a premature nuke missile failure. Win/win for all concerned...

    USA vs NK

Shot gun method is the only approach, but how good are they against ICBMs. I don't know. Plus I don't know rocket flight times between NK and SK, maybe 5-8 minutes. NK and japan 10-15 minutes. Either way, not much thinking time, or waiting to see if it flies over...
  17. Still looking super shiny after all these years.

    USA vs NK

I think the US are actually scared of missing. Then Trump would be the laughing stock of the world.... Oh wait, hang on a minute....
  19. Stoopid computers.... just need to replace the abs switch and then on the market. Scary times. Not sure what life will be like 'After Lotus'.
  20. Seats back from the upholsterers. Much improved. :-)
  21. Yep - Syntrax is the way to go for us Aussies. There's no other options here. Easy enough job.
  22. Now that I have the seats out it's a lot simpler to see in there. Square on shot of the pedals.
  23. Currently working in Brisvegas, Australia. Middle of Winter here. Brrrrrrrrrrrrr. 29 Deg C. Not complaining. Added nice photo from the walk last night for your viewing pleasure. Balmy :-)
  24. Luckily I'm selling mine then. I calculated total maintenance/running costs over the 15 years of ownership... $445 per year. With regard to your pedal setup I reckon someone's messed that up during previous maintenance.
