Following on with the establishments wonderful logic, the owner would probably have been charged with two counts of murdering two citizens, as they hadn’t stolen anything. Maybe they were lost and broke in to the bakery looking for directions? Seems feasible. If they are illegal immigrants, why weren’t they detained and deportation actions commenced?

Saw the same thing at work today. Walking over to make a coffee. 11/12 people sitting out in the new outdoor eating area. 2 people talking to each other. Everyone else, thumbing through who knows what.

I’m pretty sure that our law here in Australia says they have to if they want to sell their vehicles here. I may be completely wrong though.

I just thought of something. I know. Doesn’t happen that often. Car makers generally have to keep spares for cars they produce for 10 years. Most batteries seem to have about an 8 year life. So if you decide to replace the battery in your car, you should get another 8 years from the battery before you will then own a 16 year old car that won’t move, unless your car conks out at the top of a hill, as the battery will no longer be available. Or is everyone going to trade their vehicle when the first battery goes kaput?

You’re right about that. About 20 years ago, I met some friends of one of my daughters. One was an apprentice mechanic. I was under the bonnet of my Toyota Corolla at the time. He pointed at the distributor and asked me what it was. I did some looking up and apparently next year and 2025 are going to be very good for seeing the Aurora Australis from Victoria. One of the very good places is from Queenscliff which, as luck would have it, is about 15 minutes drive away. So I will be watching the weather, a bit more research and then maybe some trips down there sometimes with the camera and tripod etc.
