  1. That jumped out at me too, during the Eletre launch…..
  2. It’s to be a Macan challenger, same as Eletre is targeting the Cayenne. But significantly Lotus will be ahead of both Porsches’ as they’ve gone electric first with both. 133 is going after Taycan buyers. The strategy is clear - they’re going (together with Emira v Caymen) after Porsche customers head-on!👍 And why not….it’s a model that works, and there’s more than enough custom out there, to share. However the other part to this is Aftersales and customer care……Lotus have work to do here, but it will come!😎
  3. Glad to see Mick was ok after his crash - it was a big one! I honestly think this track is too quick for F1 cars……thought it last year and the same this year. I’m all for risk & reward but when there’s no chance when things go wrong for whatever reason, it starts to get dangerous! Hoping F1 doesn’t wait until AFTER someone is seriously hurt……
  4. Great looking car @Paul_D - I take it you know your MOT is due on Sunday? A mate of mine up here in Scotland was down Newmarket way last week and spotted your car and mentioned it. Said it looked lovely on the road, in front👍
  5. Looks good……but jeezus, your slow reveal teasers, are more drawn out than Lotus Cars own new car teasers! Just show us the bloody colour!😜😉
  6. Brilliant Scott!😎👏🏻👏🏻
  7. None other than Mr Giugiaro at Hethel beside his creation😎
  8. Funny you say that as I think the same. I think an Anthracite wheel would work well for Emira👍😎
  9. As I understand it these are still all pre-production Not unless you’ve bought an LHD version!😉
  10. Surprised these haven’t made it on here yet, but they were posted on FB by a guy called Phil Steven’s who got a tour around the factory by Matt Windle. Clearly if Matt says it’s ok to take photos, it’s ok to post!😉😎I’m a massive fan of Magma but how good does the Nimbus Grey (at least that’s what I think it is) look😎👏🏻👏🏻
  11. It has got an incredible side profile hasn’t it!😎
  12. Which can also look Blue…..depending on camera and light😰😂 Although it can also look Green….🤔😂 Same advert - and I haven’t tinkered with the photos. Good luck all you Dark Verdant orderers!🤞👍
  13. Sounds like a gear linkage issue ref the gear selection issue, which is usually easy enough to remedy…..but the blue smoke sounds a tad more serious😬
  14. What was wrong with the last one you bought Paul - it looked like it had been completely rebuilt…..or was that the problem?
  15. Some will appreciate this option more than yourself clearly - I know I would snap the collection option up if I was buying and more local. If you’ve not been to the factory it’s well worth the cost mentioned! And getting your new Lotus photographed at the factory is a unique opportunity👍
  16. The factory tour is something very special - Hethel itself is a proper magical place and not just a car factory. You’ve also got Classic Team Lotus across the road too, not to mention Ketteringham Hall along the road where the F1 Team used to operate from…….you’ll love it if you’ve not been down!👍And if you’ve been…..then I’m sure you can’t wait to go back as I know would😉😂
  17. Which is what I said from the start, the photograph is not representative of the actual colour, and that’s why Lotus will be desperate for photos not to ne leaked. I suppose the samples will give as good an idea as is needed in reality - yes it would be preferred to see actual finished vehicle colour examples but they’ll come in time…..what people need to appreciate is we’re not living in normal times when it comes to car production right now (try buying a Mini or BMW right now! Now no longer taking orders) as the industry is plagued by many different supply problems. Lotus themselves are going through a huge transition on top of this and that takes time…..but they will get there. I suppose it’s really just time to chill out and look forward to seeing the colour (and all the other colours for that matter) for real on the cars…..it really won’t be long now!😉👍
  18. Have you not seen the colour samples in person with your own eyes before ordering?
  19. A poster’s son on FB took it and they’re hoping to get some more photos in the morning🤞👍
  20. It’ll be Dark Verdant……the person that took the photo said it was Green. Turn the contrast down and it’s darker…..😉
  21. Indeed they do Bibs…..and clearly they’re reaching out to those potential buyers by showing LHD variants at every opportunity👍
  22. They always seem to be these days aren’t they……is it a message to the World saying “we do LHD too”? I’ve always wondered why so many new cars are shown in LHD form🤔
  23. The guy that posted it said his son took the pic, and that it looked like a “Forest Green” type shade so I think we can assume it’s Dark Verdant. In the pic it looks almost like Nautilus Blue. The photo was taken at the BBC Television Centre in London
  24. Got to be Dark Verdant Green - a lot of people have been waiting to see that shade. I wonder if they’ll have the white one black wheels on the programme too? Can’t stand the current presenting trio (apart from Chris) and never watch TG anymore…..but will be timing in for this👍
