I was 51 when I bought my 410 Sport, and 50 when I bought my VX220. What you bleating on about man. Just get the feckin' thing and drive it. Who gives a flying fortress what anyone else thinks. The good news is that it is not a Porsche so they won't think you are a middle aged knob or work for Nescafe where you shake beans all day.

And Gavin, I am still very much in love with your car and hope to see it in the flesh one day. It is to my eyes the nicest of all the GTE's.  Thanks for the screensaver picture @21gg!

I second that @C8RKH I think @21gg car is the muts nuts. I saw it a few years ago at Brooklands. Looks classy and like it wants to eat you all at the same time

So so close - a deal was almost there (and I'm sure we could have got it over the line), however, I came to the realisation that I'd be forever annoyed by it not having the facelift bumpers of the GT410 / GT430 models, so I've decided to hang onto my 400 for a bit longer and wait for an Automatic GT410 to come onto the market ('howmanyleft' suggests there is at least one out there in the UK!).

That said, I understand that AU66 BPX may be going from Hoffmans up to Levens Edinburgh (my local dealer) as they have a potential buyer.  I've asked Levens to give me a buzz if their buyer doesn't proceed, so who knows what tomorrow brings...

If it helps I don't regret not getting a GT410 Sport when I got my 410 Sport.  Whilst the front end of the GT410 Sport looks slightly better I am not keen on the rear of it at all and to be honest I can live withy the 410Sport and £20k plus in the bank, a GT410 front spoiler is £3k fitted and painted.

Funny, I prefer the rear end of the new GT410 and the front end of the old Evora 400.  Different strokes for different folks!
