funny, no one has mentioned Queen - this was '84 !

Crumbs...

Yes - good old Freddie...

going 3hrs and allready up tp 6 pages laugh.gif

Anyone know what the record is?:D:(

This started 'cos I took the surround off the cassette player to fix/paint this afternoon...

Thought I'd check the origins of the sterio 'cos the guys at SJs had commented that I should junk the old tape deck...

And found it was on the original options sheet - so original!

That got the grey matter going on getting some tapes - rather than ripping out the tape deck and installing a CD Player...

Ho hum...

It wouldn't be an 80's compil;ation without Propaganda

Haven't seen the vid before - I think the technical term is BOBFOC (body off Baywatch, face off Crimewatch)...

Oh, and Pink Floyd (The Wall/Final Cut)??

Now you're talking Howard... loved all that.

The era of "The Casual" - sports shirts from the likes of Sergio Tacchini/Fila, Farah hopsack trousers, topped off with Lyle & Scott/Pringle golfing sweaters (preferably cashmere) and a pair of moccasins... and we thought we looked the mutt's

Howard, good taste clearly follows in cars as well as music.

A few months ago, I scored 'Badness' by Morrissey Mullen off ebay. It's not been off my turntable since

Um, don't want to upset the nostalgia trip, but you do have a cassette deck to record tapes of all these suggestions with, don't you? <_<

I wouldn't know where to look for a tape deck these days  - being a late 80's upstart :harhar:, everything on tape and vinyl was steadily ditched in favour of them new shiny disc thingummybobs... the 80's were the digital decade, after all B) The big spinny-round thing and the tape munchers shuffled off to pastures new at least ten years ago when CDR and Minidisc became affordable...

I'll get me coat then, shall I?
