1976 Elite restoration.

I ache from head to foot , I’ve cramp in my fingers , totally knackered.  
Today fitted the disc and callipers on the Elite. 
The previous owners didn’t do a good job on the front hub assembly.  
Near side had the central pin of a pop rivet through the castlelated nut.  
Which turned out better than offside, it didn’t have anything through it.  
When it came to fitting the near side disc it would spin forwards , but lock up backwards.  Turn out to be an oversized spring washer in diameter.  
Fitted callipers, but then discovered that the kit was missing the pad retaining clip on one side.  Phone call to get another one sent.  
First good thing today my friends had one which was identical.  
Tomorrow I’ve JUST got to fit brake pipes and bleed system.  
Oh I also managed to fit new anti roll bar bushes.  
Oh my aching body. 😂
