Do These Costs Sound Ok?

As you know I handed the V8 over to Sinclairs in Romford to go over it and see what was wrong and put it right then give the car a full C service changing the belts. Here is what I was told and the prices to go with that.......

Sounds about the going rate to me... what did they originally quote you for the C service then?

Pure speculation on my part but I wonder if the number Sinclaires gave you originally was a 'plus VAT' figure?

Hope they're not doing a C service on your V8!! The V8 only has A & B services A service every year/6000 miles and a B service every 6 years/36000 miles.

Hope they're not doing a C service on your V8!! The V8 only has A & B services A service every year/6000 miles and a B service every 6 years/36000 miles.

Apparently the belts deteriorate with time as well as mileage and the car has just clicked 24k miles but has not had a belt change yet.

So general concensus is that its not cheap.....but about right?
