B&c warranty?

How many of you guys have taken out the aftermarket warranty that b&c do? It’s from a company called customer protect and the full wear and tear ‘superior’ one is £800 a year or £1400 for two years.

Ive never taken out a warranty on a car before in fact I don’t do extended warranties on anything I buy but any problems with the evora are likely to be expensive ones, so I’m considering the idea even though it seems like a lot of money it could easily pay for itself?

Ive also heard that Lotus are coming out with their own official aftermarket warranty soon but there’s no details on price or what’s going to be covered?

I’ve had several from B&C but like you was wary at first as all third party Warranty's can be crap and don’t cover things but Phil at B@C looked after it all for me and apparently they have a good relationship with the Warrenty company. I have had a few claims over the years all painless and sorted by B&C directly, a few for AC too!

Sounds value to me and if via Bell and Colvill, I would be confident that it was administered properly.

My car was too old to renew my warranty at 9 years old but it had a full 1 year warranty when I bought it from B&C in 2018. They fixed 3 issues inc reversing camera FOC and dealt with it all - I had to do nothing.

Luckily for me, nothing has gone wrong since the warranty expired. Now 10 years old and 66,000 miles. Original clutch too - that I suspect will be the next bill.
