Black sills on a white car would have had a big impact on the visual of the side profile. Would make car look longer, but would it look odd 'hovering' off the ground?

Two pictures of my car approx 2 weeks after it was bought by original owner, May '74.  Clearly show body colour sills.  I think this black sills thing might be a myth   LOL!

That's decided then. Mine are already painted Lagoon Blue, so that's the colour they'll be staying 😀. One less job to do.

from what Ive seen there are lots of different photos.......some with....some without......

mine are body coloured at present but its been repainted several times......

what I think I might do it use plastidip to try it out.......https://www.plastidip.co.uk/product/aerosol-spray

if youve not seen this stuff.......its like rubber paint.......and if you dont like it you just peel it off.....
