There are 6 pipes - two big ones for radiator, two small ones for heater core, and two more small ones for the chargecooler.  Looks like they are all around .050" thickness, but the tubes I am measuring are less than pristine, so my measurements may not be all that accurate.  You are looking at engine out if you have to replace the bigger radiator tubes.  The smaller ones may come out the back with some fiddling, but will be very hard to install new ones without removing the shifter.

In Imperial measurements the tube dimensions for those on my S2 are 0.0625 inch wall, 1.25 OD for the main cooling, and 0.035 inch wall, .625 OD for the heater.

I have just now found time to measure the heater pipes fitted at factory on my S2, the OD measuring 0.625", the wall thickness is 0.049, not 0.035 as I stated earlier. Sorry if anyone troubled due to the error.

Cheers
