Early Elite door cards

[EXCEL V8]

My 1974 Elite has the door cards with the mock wood strips near the top.  Below that is a panel of corduroy which matches the seats.  In cars with all-leather trim is the corduroy panel just plain leather?  Does anyone have any photos?  Could you get all-leather trim in the early cars?

Thanks Keith.  They're the later doors - they are indeed leather.  I've spent some browsing but can't find any early doors that are anything but corduroy, but I'll keep looking.  I'd not thought about old brochures - good idea!

Had a look through my collection of old brochures etc. Most of the road test pages are black and white - so are not too helpful.

Did find some early price lists covering various options eg adding things to a 501 etc - no mention of a leather option. Could have the workshop manual for £10.

I've emailed Lotus to find out if a full leather interior was an option in 1974, and to find out about door trim treatment if it was.  I'll update when I hear back from them.
