I should add, I didn't take the cilinder out of the bracket either. As it was a leaking seal and not a binding piston, I saw no need to. The Lotus Workshop Manual details how to replace the seals without taking the caliper apart as well.

I have made many mistakes in my life. Buying a multiple Lotus is not one of them.

I’ve been looking and it looks like an Espace calliper may be a replacement?

Not sure about the Espace, but I think the Matra calipers, though very similar, have a slightly different mounting. Those are available, I'll check for differences next time I'm working on the Bagheera.

I have made many mistakes in my life. Buying a multiple Lotus is not one of them.

I'd be careful ordering something like that online. The picture might not be accurate and some subtle differences might not show. Though in this case there's not a lot to go wrong.

When in doubt, I'll always order from my local supplier, as he's happy to take parts back if it turns out they don't fit after all. Actually, because of that service, I always order there whenever possible, instead of looking for cheaper alternatives online. It's just not worth the fuzz.
