I've been enquiring about a partial respray and paint correction with these guys, as well as a minor body repair. They say they have lots of experience with Lotus and in fact have a V8 Esprit in the shop at the moment. Anyone on here? And anyone offer any feedback on their work and prices?

I’d speak to Craig Moncrieff about them as he puts or at least used to put a fair bit of business their way and recommended them so they are legit saying Lotus experience. Apart from some wheels being refurbished years ago I’m not familiar with them

All the cosmetic improvements I've had done to my Evora over my 9 years of ownership have been entrusted to them.

From the 'black pack' back in the first few weeks, through the big rear wing and other bits and pieces 6 years ago, to the aftermarket bumper initial fitment 3 years ago, and its very recent replacement (along with the addition of some functional louvres) following the car park incident, I've been nothing short of delighted with everything that they've done. The finish they produce is exceptional and has stood the test of time - 9 years and 65k miles later, the piano black on the roof still looks like it was just done yesterday.

I can't recommend them highly enough. They may not be the quickest or the cheapest, and I'm sure that they'd be the first to agree with that, but you most definitely get what you pay for with them.

Any excuse to post a picture of my 'baby', but here it is just after collection from them last week - everything ahead of the A-pillars was repainted.

They were also the "go to" place for Lamborghini Edinburgh to send all their cars to that needed paintwork.

They do seem to have an excellent reputation and always seem to have "high value" cars in for work, from Porsche to Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren etc.

God doesn't want me, and the Devil isn't finished with me yet.

The small print.

My comments and observations are my own, invariably "tongue in cheek", and definitely, sarcastic in nature. Therefore, do not take my advice, suggestions, observations or posts seriously or personally and remember if you do, do anything, that I may have suggested, then you have done this based solely on your own decision to do so and therefore you acknowledge responsibility and accountability (I know, in this modern world these are the hardest things for you to accept) for your actions and indemnify me of any influence, responsibility, accountability, or liability, in what you have done. In other words, you did it, so suffer the consequences on your own!

I got the front of the Elise repaired by them a few years ago. Absolutely fantastic job. They were familiar with our wee plastic cars and how to manage a respray on them. Lots of exotic stuff in their car park when I was there. I'd highly recommend them.

It is Andrew Laing's V8 that is currently with them.

No longer!  I saw it last night at Club Lotus/LDC/LEGS meeting at Bo'ness and it was looking good.
