Just listed my Lotus Esprit S4s on carandclassic initially, for the moment and want to get a bit of feedback before I expand out a bit.

I'm guessing you want comments as to how you could improve your chances of selling? Assuming so, these are my comments were I in the market for another S4s. I prefer the Futura wheels to those in the photos, but I know they're bloody rare and expensive, if you can ever find any. The dashboard lacquer peeling off is not a show-stopper, but if it could be fixed? The front luggage compartment carpet doesn't look good to me. Steve Margery here on TLF supplied me with a carpet with bound edges, which fits a treat, and wasn't expensive. And the same for the boot carpet - it needs to look nicer, with bound edges. It's difficult to see the paint finish, but maybe a trip to a detailer who does a good paintwork polishing might help (mine is having just that right at this moment). Definitely remove the seat covers, people will want to know what they're hiding. Just doing a few things would make it more attractive than it already is. I absolutely sympathise with the electric mirror issue, do you know which bit it is that needs replacing?

Overall, your advert seems to me to be very honest, which is a definite plus, and I hope these comments have been of some use. I wish you well with the sale, hopefully you'll have a buyer very soon.

Thanks for the comments, I intend to fix some of the issues as time passes but good comments on car seats.

Extra pictures will be beneficial for buyers and intend to get more done next week.

Paintwork is not too bad except for the noted bad area at the front and wing. Will give it a good detail over the coming week. 

Good point on carpets will try and get that done.

Great looking car.  I seem to remember this car from 20 years ago, can’t be that many silver S4s’s with 6 spoke monoblocs.  Was it the Oxford run / Virginia Water meet?

That was probably me, It's been awhile since I was on those runs, fun times.
