In answer to the OP, mine lives outside most of the year and is fine. I'll garage it when it snows but otherwise I'd rather have it available to drive (I have a thin drive up past the house to the thin garage!). 

You could always get one of our excellent covers when they're back in stock (Thenks @phil flash :D)
